Review: The White Album – Weezer

With 2014’s critically acclaimed Everything Will be Alright in the End, Weezer officially ended their impressive streak of shitty records, while triumphantly returning to their 90’s alt-rock roots. This record, titled either The White Album or Weezer (depending on who you ask), is meant to continue that trend – the record chases Pinkerton nostalgia with beach-themed instrumentals and lyrics about Tinder dates. Dylan Hardin and I have very different opinions about how well this played out; we discussed them on the latest Yr Album audio segment. Listen below for the full review, via Soundcloud.
